Leading on-line sustainable agriculture and food systems magazine Civil Eats published an article about Huerto de la Familia’s “melding of entrepreneurship and cooperative agriculture” in the world of urban agriculture.

The article describes how Huerto’s “projects blend a commitment to social justice with an interest in entrepreneurship and the business of farming.” In addition, the piece explores the role and importance of leadership training for immigrant families trying to enter a marketplace that is difficult to navigate regardless of one’s level of experience or marketing savvy.
