Huerto de la Familia will appear in The Color of Food, by Natasha Bowens

Natasha Bowens has been traveling around the US interviewing farmers of color for the past few years.  Last summer she visited Huerto de la Familia and the Small Farmers’ Project.  Her work has been highlighted in Colorlines and even appears on the Bill Moyers website.  Huerto de la Familia is one of the projects featured.  Her book the Color of Food will be published by New Society Press for release in 2015.

Presbyterian Hunger Program promotes Huerto through the One Great Hour of Sharing
